1. अवलोकन
कामराजार पोर्ट लिमिटेड का सर्वेक्षण एवं ड्रेजिंग प्रभाग सुरक्षित नौवहन सुनिश्चित करने, घोषित गहराइयों के रखरखाव तथा सतत परिचालन दक्षता बनाए रखने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है।
यह प्रभाग बंदरगाह चैनलों, टर्निंग सर्कल, बेसिन और बर्थों में घोषित गहराइयों को बनाए रखने के लिए अंतरराष्ट्रीय एवं राष्ट्रीय मानकों के अनुरूप व्यवस्थित हाइड्रोग्राफिक सर्वेक्षण और वैज्ञानिक ड्रेजिंग कार्य करता है।
कामराजार पोर्ट से संबंधित हाइड्रोग्राफिक जानकारी नेविगेशनल चार्ट संख्या 3028 तथा INT 7404 में प्रदर्शित की गई है, और कामराजार पोर्ट का ज्वारीय डेटा भारतीय ज्वार तालिकाओं (Indian Tide Tables) में प्रकाशित किया जाता है।
